Can pets be infected?
So far there have not been any reports of infected pets with COVID-19 and no evidence has shown that companion animals, including pets can spread the virus.
Of course, further studies are required to determine if and how different animals play a role in the COVID-19 spread.
Generally, it is recommended that infected people limit their contact to pets and animals, too, until more information is available
