At present, studies recommend against the administration of corticosteroids in a SARS-CoV-2 infection, unless there is a clinical indication for other reasons (ARDS?). Evidenz has shown that there is an negative effect on virus clearance in SARS and MERS. However, this topic is highly controversial.
